Malevolent Soap is an independent, non-profit journal of poetry and fiction edited by Felix Garner Davis.

We’re based in Naarm/Melbourne, Australia, but our archive features voices from around the world. We publish regularly.

Anything goes, but we’re partial to imagistic work that mines intersections of cultural artefact and human behaviour, retaining a keen, if subtle, metaphysical edge. Whether it invokes Nicolas Cage or Motoko Kusanagi, we’re interested. We champion concreteness, reference, fusion and oddity.

Our debut issue landed on October 13, and will be available for purchase here in a few days.

Please direct all queries and messages to asuh@malevolentsoap.com.

NB: Our work occurs on the stolen lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin nation. We pay respect to Elders past, present and future.
